Symposium: Lifelong Learning Institute The ERJCC's Symposium: Lifelong Learning Institute classes provide a stimulating intellectual and social environment for active adults. We offer a variety of subjects including but not limited to: fine arts, science, civil liberties, literature, entertainment, economics and industries in and around Houston.
Peer led courses consist of four consecutive weekly, one-hour sessions. Symposium sessions are scheduled in the fall, winter and spring. Check back soon for a listing of fall classes.
$28 ERJCC Member / $39 Public
If you register for more than one Symposium class during a semester, you will receive a $10 discount on each additional Symposium class taken during the same semester. This discount is not available if you register online, only when it is done by calling Esther Bethke at 713-729-3200 ext. 3258.
Our instructors and facilitators teach for the joy and satisfaction of sharing their expertise. Our participants have the opportunity to stretch their minds and pursue new challenges. There are no exams, no grades. All that is required is to come with a sharp pencil and have a thirst for learning.
