School of Dance
The ERJCC School of Dance offers dance classes and lessons for all ages. The school was established in 1969 and is a vital part of the ERJCC. Distinguished choreographers rehearse and perform here. Gifted and committed professionals form one of the finest dance facilities in Houston.
Our dance classes cover basic through professional technique levels. Classes including preschool dance, ballet, tap, jazz/hip hop and more are available for dancers ages 2 ½ through adult. We also offer Mind, Body & Spirit classes including yoga, pilates, piloyet, tai chi and more for teens and adults. Click here for a complete listing of upcoming classes and programs. Children's classes are available to ERJCC members. The adult program is open to members and the general public. Special events such as Dance Month at the Kaplan Theatre, the Summer Dance Master Class Series and the IW Marks Jewelers Master Class Series have also become an integral segment of the school along with workshops and master classes.
Israeli Folk Dance

Join us for an upbeat evening of dance! Israeli Folk Dance is for all who want a taste of Israeli culture and a laid back environment. Dancers are always welcome no matter your experience level. Requests are honored. No need to pre-register, just come and pay at the door. Children are welcome.

IW Marks Dance Master Class Series
From ballet to jazz contemporary to modern, S.P.A. presents the art of dance from around the globe. S.P.A.'s partnership with the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston and IW Marks has made this dynamic series of master classes, designed for the intermediate to advanced level dancer, possible. Classes are held at the ERJCC, open to the public and each will have a maximum size of 35 students.
