Jewish Community Center Stage Performing Arts
For Grades 3-6
Our flagship performing program, JCCS offers students the opportunity to be a part of a large-scale musical production each fall and spring. Students experience the entire theatrical process – from auditions and casting, to rehearsals and tech–and come together to create a fully realized production on the Kaplan Stage.
Spring Production: Seussical Jr.
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life in this fantastical musical extravaganza. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.
Performances May 3-13 - details coming soon!
About Jewish Community Center Stage Performing Arts School (JCCS)
Our flagship performing program, JCCS offers students in 3-6 grades the opportunity to be a part of a large-scale musical production each fall and spring.
Students will go through a full production process – starting with auditions, casting, rehearsals, tech, and finally, performances. Throughout the rehearsal process, they will develop their singing skills, learn fun choreography and hone their acting skills.
Local designers and technical professionals are brought on to put together a fully-realized set, beautiful costumes, and innovative lighting and sound designs. Our trained staff creates a nurturing and positive environment where every child can shine, no matter their skill level or role size. There is no better place to perform than at the J!
