Group Exercise

Body Pump class Yoga Class Hula Hoop Class

The ERJCC Houston Fitness Center offers a wide variety of clases including yoga, pilates, cardio, Zumba, BodyPump™, spin, strength training and water fitness.  All Group Exercise and Mind, Body & Spirit classes are FREE for Fitness Center members.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Group Exercise Studio 
Aerobic Exercise 
 Boot Camp* A killer mix of cycling, jogging, jump roping, calisthenics, free weights, med balls, and whatever else the instructor can dream up! (*fee-based) 
Cardio Combo An energetic low-impact aerobics class with resistance training & great music. 
Cardio Dance A high energy aerobic class with the latest dance moves. Watch out MTV.
Hip Hop Club moves choreographed to the hottest new music.
Zumba A Latin-based dance workout that will make you sweat.   
Mind/Body
Hatha Yoga This ancient form of physical exercise uses classic asamas or postures combined with Pranayama breathing and mediation techniques.
Mat Pilates A series of exercises designed to develop core strength, tone the abdominals, buttocks and thighs, lengthen the musculature, enhance flexibility and improve posture.  
Piyolet A new unique and exciting form of exercise that combine Pilates, Yoga and ballet.
Power/Yinyasa Yoga Power Yoga is yoga for strength and endurance to sweat away accumulated clutter in the mind and body and promote expansion with intense breathing. This is an intermediate-to-advanced class that is faster paced than the typical Hatha Yoga class. Vinyasa Flow is a heat-building, graceful expression of yoga and helps build determination, focus and a total yoga body. 
Yoga Pila A combination of Pilates and Yoga
Strength Training

BodyPump logo
The fastest way in the universe to get in shape! Guaranteed to improve muscular endurance and help you boost your metabolism.
Boost Strength training for the whole body with a mix of cardio. Be prepared for anything!
Group Strength A total body toning class that isolates specific muscle groups. 
Core Training 
Abs A 15-minute workout that focuses entirely on your core. Burn Baby Burn!!! 
Senior Group Exercise Rm. #327
Stay Young Through Fitness (SYTF) A fun way to stay in shape. A combination of upbeat music and a great total body exercise routine. This class can be done standing or in a chair.
Indoor Cycling Studio  
Spin Our version of group indoor cycling. The best cardiovascular workout you've had!
Crosstraining  A killer mix of cardio, strength and core training 
Indoor Pool  
Deep Water Fitness  An energizing and vigorous workout done in the deep water.  
Water Fitness This class will test your strength and endurance. The water provides resistance to create a breathtaking total body workout.
