About Patrons of the Arts
Did you know the ERJCC has one of the most active, vibrant, year-round, Jewish arts and culture programs in the U.S.? Thanks to the continued commitment and generous annual support, our JCC is able to stage innovative, engaging, thought-provoking, diverse and all-out entertaining Jewish programming including:
- 37 Jewish Book & Arts Fair author, music, and film programs
- 28 CJLL (Center for Jewish Living & Learning) programs
- 18 Horvitz Scholar-in-Residence Lectures
- 18 Outreach programs (Jewish and general community)
- 15 Jewish Film Festival feature films and documentaries with the Museum of Fine Arts,Houston, plus 3 Summer Israeli Films
- 6 Deutser Art Gallery Fine Art exhibits including a successful teen outreach juried exhibit entitled “J Teen Arts Scene”
- 5 weeks of engaging dance performances and master classes during Dance Month at the Kaplan Theatre by nationally and internationally-recognized dance companies
- 3 programs in partnership with the Rice University Jewish Studies Program
- 2 music concerts, plus our first-ever “jTunes” a cappella group
