Houston TranStar is a unique partnership of representatives from the City of Houston, Harris County, METRO and TxDOT who share resources and exchange information under one roof to keep motorists informed, roadways clear and lives safe in the fourth most populated city in the United States.  Learn firsthand how TranStar works daily and the impact it has had on the Houston region. Lunch will be at Sweet Tomatoes.

Book Club

Our Book Club is open to all adults 60 and better. Meet with others who enjoy reading and take part in a lively discussion about the book of the month. This group meets at 12:45 PM on the first Wednesday of every month. Facilitator: Donna Scott

Great Books Discussion   

Great Books discussion groups are lively, friendly, sometimes contentious - and a good deal of fun. Participants challenge their own and others’ beliefs and opinions in the light of a rich, thought-provoking text.   The group is currently reading from Great Conversations #6 and Great Books: The Soul of the Text.
