BAC Preschool and Infant Care

As one of Houston's finest preschools, Bertha Alyce Center (BAC), offers quality infant and child care and Jewish enrichment.  We are located at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center on South Braeswood between Hillcroft and Chimney Rock. Being on the ERJCC campus gives the children enrolled at Bertha Alyce access to the facilities and some of the programs offered in the afternoons.

The Bertha Alyce Center of the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston is an institution of learning influenced by its Jewish heritage and dedicated to principles of social justice, respect for diversity and valuing the uniqueness of each person. Its primary focus is placed upon all needs of young children and their families and all those who touch their lives each day. It is our belief that by meeting the need for "neighbor" within our community, we are responding to a basic need in all human beings, parents and children alike.

Class Size
The Bertha Alyce Center serves children 6 weeks to Pre-K and is licensed by the State of Texas. Group sizes are an important indicator of good quality programs.

The Bertha Alyce staff are dedicated and caring individuals who are constantly striving to provide the best care and education available within a Jewish environment for young children.
