For Families with Kids Going into K-5th Grade

Shabbatify brings together elementary school families for meaningful and fun-filled Shabbat and Sunday afternoons, with activities for kids and parents to enjoy both as a family and separately.

Upcoming Programs

Short with Shabbatify: Across the Line
Saturday, March 3 | 5:00 PM
Join other parents of elementary-age kids for a fun-filled Shabbat afternoon. Kids will jump and tumble in gymnastics while parents enjoy a short film and discussion. We will reunite as a family to enjoy some snacks and Havdalah under the stars.

Across the Line

Film: Across the Line
Hananel, an Israeli Jewish settler, is hurrying home for Shabbat. An unexpected encounter with Mundir, a troubled Palestinian hitchhiker, leads them both on a series of adventures that eventually teach them a surprising lesson in communication, friendship, and love. This film is part of the Houston Jewish Film Festival.
