Celebrate 70 years of Israel! Join us for our annual community-wide celebration of Israel’s independence. We look forward to events across the community, which will culminate in our annual Yom Ha'atzmaut celebration on April 19.  

Since this is a special year, we have an EXTRA HUGE event planned. 

Capaim BandHighlights

  • Super fun & family-friendly games, crafts, and activities.
  • The pool (geared for ages 5 and up) will be open from 4:30-6:00 PM (bring your own towel).
  • Off-site parking and buses from the Main J. Free Dough Cone to the first 100 riders and other give-a-ways at the event.
  • An Israeli-style Torch Lighting Ceremony honoring community members who've made an impact on our connection to Israel
  • 45 minute super fun concert with the band Capaim
  • A “spark-tacular” surprise ending! 

Schedule
4:30 PM - Children's Activities and Pool Open for children 5+ (closes at 6:00 PM)
6:15 PM - Israeli Flag March Led by Bnei Akiva and Tzofim Youth
6:20 PM - Torch Lighting Ceremony (Children's Activities Break)
7:00 PM - Capaim Concert (Children's Activities Re-Open)

Food
Plenty of food options available for purchase, including Laykie's Gourmet Cafe, Dough Cone, Pita Bites, Shosh & Chookies Fresh Mex and a beer and wine bar.
