JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest
Save the Date!
The JCC Maccabi Send Off will be Sunday, August 7 at 5:00 p.m. in the JCC Kaplan Theater. ALL parents and athletes must attend. We will go over the week of the Games, hand out bags and gear, as well as take a Team Houston photo. Following this meeting, we will have a pool social for TEENS ONLY, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Bring your suits and towels! Live DJ and BBQ (hot dogs/hamburgers provided). Participants going to Israel, please arrive for the group photo and team social at 6:15 p.m.

What are the JCC Maccabi Games?
The JCC Maccabi Games have been offering Jewish teens aged 13-16 a unique social, cultural, and life shaping experience since 1982. At this Jewish Olympic style event, each athlete participates in one of fourteen sports, social events, and an opportunity to help others during the weeklong experience; creating memories that will last a lifetime. What is the JCC Maccabi ArtsFest?
The JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is an arts program designed for creative Jewish teens from North America and around the world currently in grades 7-11. Like the JCC Maccabi Games, The JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is a weeklong program where teens come as part of a delegation from their local JCC, but participate and collaborate with artists from all over the world in the art specialty of their choice. These art specialties include acting, computer animation, creative writing, dance, jazz/world music ensemble, musical theatre, photojournalism, rock/pop bands, visual art and vocal music.
