Summer Bus Trips for Adults
Houston, TX – Evelyn Rubenstein JCC of Houston and Weekley Family YMCA are partnering to offer monthly bus trips for adults age 50 plus. The collaborative effort is a fun way to give older adults a cultural experience without the hassle and expense of driving, traffic and parking.
The first trip is planned for Tuesday, June 21, to The Printing Museum, located in Houston's vibrant North Montrose District; followed by lunch at Luby’s Cafeteria. The Printing Museum is an impressive museum comprised of multiple galleries featuring permanent and temporary exhibitions, a theater, gift shop, and letterpress, book binding, lithography and paper-making studios.
July’s bus trip heads to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus on Thursday, July 21. Join your friends and experience the heart-pounding thrill that comes from watching daring feats, majestic animals and amazing performers in a spectacular live event that will mesmerize the senses.
The last trip of the summer, August 11, will be indoors and will give folks a way to give back to their community with a tour of the Houston Food Bank and some time to volunteer.
