Kids On A Mission to Explore their Jewish Journey

Houston, TX – If you’re looking for an enriching after school program for your child then sign up for Jewish-Hebrew Explorers at the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC of Houston. The program is open to children of any denomination, grades K-2.

“I am very happy that my son, Erez, wanted me to register him for Jewish-Hebrew Explorers again in the fall,” said Aliza Matusevich, mother of Erez. “Since he started attending last year, his curiosity about Hebrew has been awakened and he is now more open to me speaking Hebrew with him at home.”

The Jewish and Hebrew language enrichment program will allow students to travel through to explore the joy of Jewish history, tradition and living while learning some basic Hebrew vocabulary.  The 45-minute class will be taught by Nomi Barancik on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. September 6 – December 13, 2017. Classes will be active, fun and developmentally appropriate.

“We’re thrilled with the success of the program and how families have embraced it,” said Jill Rabbi Jill Levy, Director of the Center for Jewish Living and Learning at the J. “This program enables our littlest ones to stay connected to their pre-school friends while continuing to explore their Jewish journey.”
