Table Tennis

ERJCC now offers a full-service Table Tennis program with state-of-the-art equipment for all players ages 8 and up. Highlights of the program include open/challenge play, instructional classes, private lessons plus ladders, tournaments and exhibitions. 

Director Perry Schwartzberg

Director, Perry Schwartzberg
Schwartzberg, a three time Texas State Champion, will direct the program. He began playing Table Tennis in the early '70s and quickly gathered attention as he won the U.S. Open 15 and under Singles and Doubles Titles in 1975. Shortly thereafter Schwartzberg was named "Best Up and Coming Player in the U.S." by USATT. Other titles and honors include 1980 and 1984 U.S. Open Class A Singles Champion, 1984 National Men's Amateur Athlete of the Year, 1989 and 1990 U.S. Closed 30 and over Singles Champion. He has since retired from tournament competition and resides in Houston, where he continues his passion for Table Tennis through coaching.
