The ERJCC offers a kosher lunch program for our senior members (65+). Lunch is offered Monday through Friday. The cost of a lunch is $2.50. Special programs will be featured several times a month and will take place before or after the meal. For a complete listing of monthly programs check out The Courier, The Pauline Sterne Wolff Senior Community Center Newsletter. To make reservations contact Esther Bethke at ebethke@erjcchouston.org or 713-729-3200, ext. 3258. Reservations must be made by 1:00 p.m. the day before the lunch.

On Monday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in room 116 Janet Pinner, RN is available to check blood pressure and blood sugar. She is also available to give advice and counseling on other concerns you may have about your health. |
| Shabbat Dinners |
Join us once a month to greet Shabbat with prayer, song and a yummy traditional Shabbat meal. The Senior Adult Shabbat Dinner Program is underwritten in memory of Paul Lipnick, who was active in ERJCC senior adult activites, by Janet and Elton Lipnick, David Lipnick and Myles and Amy Kelman. We thank the family for their generous support. |

The ERJCC's Symposium: Lifelong Learning Institute classes provide a stimulating intellectual and social environment for active adults. | Defensive Driving |
Save money on your insurance while refreshing your skills and raising your awareness level. Those registering must be at least 50 years old and possess a valid driver's license. These classes are given for insurance discount only. The fee is $10 (Checks only made out to AARP) and the class convenes two mornings each month (from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.). |

Today's News is a current events discussion group that meets every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in room 119. Walter Dubov, group facilitator, has a loyal group of participants that come each week to exchange ideas and express their views. All ERJCC members are welcome to join in on the discussion. |

Calling all book lovers. Join us the first Wednesday of each month to discuss and explore the book selection of the month. Participants are encouraged to recommend books and selections will be announced in The Courier. |
| First Monday Series |
The first Monday of every month we have a speaker come in to talk about some of the hot button topics that are of interest to the 65+ crowd. These talks are open to all ERJCC members. The next talk will be included in The Courier. |
