49 Years of Authors, Music, Theatre & Films
We are celebrating our 49-year tradition of connecting community through authors, music, theatre and film! Enjoy exciting content from our star-studded line-up, featuring celebrity memoirs, international authors, debut novelists, children and parenting experts. While we look forward to seeing everyone for a ‘return to an in-person’ Festival, there will be several different options for you to experience our events. Support the J by purchasing your books online through our online store or during the Festival at the Jack Lapin Bookstore.
Our Authors in Conversation @ Home series brings literary events to you all year long.
Follow #JHouBookFest on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter. Support the J by purchasing your books online through Bookshop.org or during the Festival at the Jack Lapin Bookstore.

Health & Safety
We are working closely with our Medical Advisory Committee to develop our health and safety guidelines for Book Festival. Masks will be required at each event. Most theatre capacities will be at 50% with seats spread out throughout the theatre. Some events (Opening Night, Community Read, Leah Garrett event, and Closing Night) have theater capacities set at 75%. For those events there will be open seats in the theater, but there will not be space between each group of seats. Social distancing will also be practiced in the lobby and in book-signing lines. Click here to view Book Festival Health & Safety Guidelines.
