On behalf of the entire J staff and Board of Trustees, I hope that you and your family continue to be safe and healthy. We continue to see increased participation at the outdoor pool, tennis and fitness centers and look forward to seeing you soon. This week, for the first time since March 13, children and their parents were on the campus to meet and greet their teachers at the Bertha Alyce Early Childhood School. Our staff are looking forward to reopening our Early Childhood programs in West Houston and Bertha Alyce, along with gymnastics, tennis and our new Summer Fun at the J program.
SAFETY IS A PARTNERSHIP
When we started to plan for an eventual reopening of the J, our Medical Advisory Task Force focused on the importance of a partnership with you in order to provide and maintain a healthy and safe environment for our community. It is essential that you review the health and safety guidelines and that you complete the health screening for yourself if entering the J and for your children in order for them to participate and attend any J program or activity. This is a daily requirement. We expect that if you or anyone in your family is experiencing any symptoms identified in our health screenings that you and your children do not participate in any programs or utilize any facilities and adhere to the mandated timeframes outlined in our guidelines prior to returning.
I also request your continued patience when dropping off and picking up your children at BAS and Summer Fun. It will require additional time to verify that the health screening has been completed and for the children to exit your car safely. For members accessing recreational facilities Monday-Friday, expect an increase in traffic from 8:30 AM-9:00 AM and 3:15 PM-4:00 PM.
Should you have any additional questions, feel free to contact me directly at email@example.com or Teri Greenblatt, who is coordinating all of our Covid-19 initiatives, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation; we need your full support.
Stay safe and healthy.
