Instructor: Hannah Abney
Before moving to New York City, Hannah began her career in the food service industry in Palo Alto California on Emerson Street. During her tenure in New York, she discovered and fell in love with the exceptional and unique food creations she found, some of her favorites being from her home bakery, Comfortland in Queens. She has operated her own business as a personal chef for meal prepping services and custom cakes and was the chef for Whiskey Stories®️ before moving to Houston. Hannah loves playing with pairing new flavors and cuisines to create unique dishes, and she loves hosting a crowd. When she isn’t cooking or facilitating classes at the JCC she enjoys teaching yoga and performing standup comedy. Hannah looks forward to cooking and creating memories with you in our culinary home at the J.
