The Jewish people have encountered various iterations of plague throughout their existence. What was their response to these catastrophes, both physically and spiritually? How did they learn to cope and survive, and even sometimes find meaning in the direst of circumstances? This series will explore the experiences of afflicted Jewish communities in the past and how these experiences can inform our understanding of today’s current crisis.
