Presented by Angela Odensky, Attorney at Law, specializing in estate planning & elder law.
Angela will be speaking about the different levels of care needed as we age and what you can do to afford the level of care you or a loved one may need. She will discuss the difference between Medicare and Medicaid as well the different types of long-term care available and what you can expect from each. She will also touch on the most important documents to have in your toolbox if you need to assist a family member in making decisions.
Angela Odensky is an Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney in Houston, Texas. A native Texan, she received her BA from Southwestern University, Georgetown, TX, MA from Radford University, Radford VA, and JD from the University of Houston Law Center. Angela has practiced Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, and Special Needs Planning since 2015.
Angela is a regular speaker and presenter on the topics of Estate Planning and Elder Law at Chevron, Baker Ripley, Kelsey Seybold, and a variety of caregiver groups. She is currently serving on the UPL committee of the Texas State Bar, and is an active member of Texas NAELA, the Texas Bar College, and the Houston Bar Association.
