Jewish Teen Philanthropy Initiative Application

Jewish Teen Philanthropy Initiative (JTPI) aims to inspire a diverse group of Jewish high school students to make a real difference in the greater Houston Jewish Community. Participants will raise and allocate $10,000 to address real community issues through a consensus building and project-based learning model. Teens will meet monthly to research and explore organizations and causes they wish to support, learn about the process of grant making, hear from local philanthropists, and explore their own Jewish values.

*Must be entering 9–12 grade to apply.

We are excited to receive your application to participate in the 2019-2020 cohort of the Jewish Teen Philanthropy Initiative (JTPI). Since you cannot save your progress and return to the application, we recommend writing your answers in a Word document and then copying and pasting them into the application when you are finished. Please reach out to Eli Pollack at if you have any questions.
