Securing Your Financial Future

Houston, TX – Evelyn Rubenstein JCC of Houston presents a series of seminars that will be sure to change your financial future. Make plans to be at the J Friday, January 13 and 30 to hear Shelly Nadel give two important sessions that will leave you more informed about both Social Security and Medicare and confident that you can make the financial choices that are the most cost effective for yourself and your family.

For many seniors, Social Security and Medicare will be the major sources of funding for their retirement. Knowing how to navigate those programs, however, can be challenging. This informational presentation on the best strategies for making sure you receive all of the benefits you are entitled to in the most cost effective way possible.

Shelley Nadel is a life-long Houstonian and an independent Financial Advisor affiliated with FSC Securities Corporation. She is passionate about educating members of her community about this important topic.

“The costs of long term care can be a bigger threat to a successful retirement than any potential downturns in the stock market.  There is a strong likelihood that we will need some type of LTC before we die, and understanding how those expenses can affect our financial plans is absolutely critical to achieving our financial goals in our older years.”

Shelley offers comprehensive financial planning services, including investment, retirement, insurance, estate and tax planning. In this informal conversation, she will address many topics, including how to decide when is the best time to apply for Social Security to maximize benefits and how to differentiate between the confusing array of choices for Medicare coverage.

The first session, Social Security and Medicare will take place Friday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. The second session Long Term Care Planning happens Friday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. The cost of the seminar is free but please register by contacting Cathy Podell, Adult Program Coordinator 713-595-8171.
