Modern Master Dance Class and Audition with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company

Join instructor Attila Joey Csiki for an intermediate/advanced level master dance class on Monday, January 28 from 7:30 PM–9:30 PM at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston, 5601 S. Braeswood. Dancers can also audition for Peridance Capezio Center’s leading summer intensives and year-round programs. Appropriate dance attire is required.

The three summer intensives are: Teen Summer Intensive, a three-week intensive for ages 13-17; Blue Print Intensive, a two-week intensive for ages 17-22; and the Certificate Program, a two-year program for serious students who want to invest in an intensive training program.

About Peridance
Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, under the Artistic Direction of Igal Perry, has been a powerhouse of energetic and evocative dance since its inception in 1984. Mr. Perry has structured the Company to explore and experiment with innovative movement and design while upholding the elegance and articulation of classical ballet, with an emphasis on performing repertory by notable choreographers.

About the Instructor
Attila Joey Csiki began his dance training at the Canadian Dance Company in Toronto subsequently to join the National Ballet of Canada. Upon receiving a scholarship to the School of American Ballet, Attila relocated to New York City and thereafter joined the New York City Ballet. He received the Princess Grace Award in 2010 for his extensive work with Lar Lubovitch. Attila partnered with ballet legend and Prima Ballerina Alessandra Ferri for her return to the stage in “The Piano Upstairs.” Since 2013, Attila created and appears in Christopher Wheeldon’s original Broadway production of An American In Paris, winning four Tony awards, seven drama desk awards and six outer critic awards. Most recently Attila has been seen in the revival of Brigadoon the musical at City Center, an Encores production.
