Parent & Child Swim Classes, Sun 10:45 AM
Parent & Child Swim:
The Parent/Child Swim Class is for swimmers ages 6 to 36 months with little to no experience in the water. This class focuses on exploring the water, body position, and building comfort around water and around other people. Swimmers in this class will learn how to blow bubbles at the surface while parents learn how to perform front and back tow with their child. Instructors will also show how to help build the child’s confidence in the water in the back float position, and well as grip strength for the child to hold onto the edge of the pool. All actions work towards independence in the water at whatever speed the parent is comfortable. Water safety is also introduced.
