Delayed in-person school starts and online learning? Not to worry. We have you covered with School Days at the J!

We've developed School Days at the J specifically for students in Grades K-8 that need supervision during virtual learning. The J will provide support specialists to meet individual student's needs and lead small-group activities. J program professionals will also be available for brain-breaks and other fun activities during downtime.

Students must provide laptop/tablet computer and headphones. The J will provide staff support throughout the day, some basic (non-shared) school supplies and a snack.

The program will continue our already implemented health and safety protocols, including masks, social distancing and a frequent sanitizing schedule. We will also maintain our small classroom size of no more than 10 students per group.

Virtual Learning

Program Details and Pricing (Sept 8–Oct 16)

Monday-Friday: drop off as early as 7:30 AM, pick-up at 3:30 PM (after care is available for an additional fee). Your kids will receive high-quality support, supervision, and fun activities throughout the day! Membership required.

Option 1 | 7:30 AM-3:30 PM | Member $1,950/student full session - $325 per week* | Public $2178
This program is designed to provide supervision during the school day, homework help, brain breaks and activities during downtime.

Option 2 | 7:30 AM-6:00 PM | Member $2,250/student full session - $375 per week* | Public $2478
Our extended day option provides students with supervision during the school day and an afternoon of fitness and fun.

Option 3 | 2:00 PM-6:00 PM | Member $160/student per week* | Public $198
Our half-day option allows participants to have an afternoon of fun and fitness activities including tennis, gymnastics, art, STEM, and more!

*Options 1 & 2 must be purchased for the full session.  Only Option 3 may be purchased on a weekly basis.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available for need-based families who are currently receiving scholarship aid for Summer Fun. To register, please call Sasha Akatkin (713,595.8166).  Scholarship will be applied at time of registration and a 50% payment is required. Scholarship will not be available for anyone who registers online.  

Families who are not currently receiving financial assistance but would like to apply for financial aid must complete an online FACTS application and include financial information for review including W2, tax returns and any supporting documents reflecting a change in income due to COVID-19 if necessary.  Financial aid is limited and awarded on a first come basis and may take up to one week to be reviewed.  You will receive a call once a financial aid decision has been determined in order to complete your registration.  A 50% payment is required at time of registration. Please contact Nohemy Vasquez at nvasquez@erjcchouston.org for more information regarding financial assistance.  All financial applications must be completed (including all required financial information) by August 14th to be considered.
