Memoir Writing for All Levels, Tue 1:00 PM

Memoir Writing for All Levels with Bevin O’Conner This summer, Inprint, Houston’s leading literary arts nonprofit, invites adults 60 and older to join our Inprint Senior Memoir Workshops, a welcoming and inspiring space to bring your life stories to the page. Through engaging writing prompts, creative activities, and supportive discussions, you’ll explore how to turn memories into meaningful stories and discover what makes the memoir such a powerful and captivating literary form. Whether you’re writing to publish, preserve family history, share your experiences with your grandchildren, or simply enjoy the process of creative self-expression, these workshops will help you find your voice on the page in a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment.

Memoir Writing Workshops for Advanced Writers with Anna Barr – This workshop, geared towards writers with prior experience writing memoir, will focus on compiling memoir collections. We will be working with polished drafts, revisions, and generating new work with an eye towards overarching theme and structure in a collection. We will read craft texts and model memoirs to guide our thinking as well as exploring publishing and printing options for the final projects.
