Kendra Scott Gives Back - Ladies Night Out Tuesday, June 11 • 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Head to the Kendra Scott store in Rice Village located at 2411 Times Boulevard, to create colorful, beautiful jewelry using natural gemstones. You select the style, the stones and the meta l- then watch a trained stone-setter make your design a reality. Hang out with your girlfriends and enjoy champagne and cupcakes, all compliments of Kendra Scott. Twenty percent of the sales that night will benefit the ERJCC Adult Program.
Experience Shabbat at the J
Shabbat Dinner Friday, June 7 • 6:00 p.m.
Leave the cooking up to us and enjoy a hassle-free Shabbat dinner. Reserve a table for you and your friends at the ERJCC monthly Shabbat dinners. There will be a short service which will be followed by a traditional Shabbat meal. Welcoming the Sabbath with friends is a beautiful way to begin a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Elton and Janet Lipnick, David Lipnick, and Myles and Amy Kelman underwrite Shabbat Dinners in memory of Paul Lipnick, an active senior participant, so that other active adults can enjoy the traditional meal and meaningful service to usher in Shabbat. Paul Lipnick enjoyed dining with friends, and his family has chosen this special way to honor his memory.
Great Books Discussion Group Great Books discussion groups are forums for thoughtful readers. Discussions are lively, friendly, sometimes contentious - and a good deal of fun. The object of a Great Books discussion is not to go home with the "right answer." Participants challenge their own and others’ beliefs and opinions in the light of a rich, thought-provoking text. The group will be meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at 10:00 AM beginning in June.

Jewish Film Club The Jewish Film Club features monthly screenings of classic and contemporary films that highlight Jewish characters or themes. All films will be shown in the Kaplan Theatre. A discussion of each film, facilitated by Rabbi Samantha Safran Bodner, will follow. Coffee and snacks will be provided for the discussion.

Knit-Wits June 11 & 25 • 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the lounge If you knit, crochet or want to learn, please join the Knit-Wits. This group will meet twice a month to create knitted items that will be distributed to Meals on Wheels homebound older adults and others as determined by the members of the group. This is a great way to have fun with friends while giving back to the community.
Book Club The ERJCC book club is open to all adults 60 and better. Meet with members who enjoy reading and take part in a lively discussion about the book of the month.
