New promising, entertaining and exceptional award-winning films are featured in this annual festival, which brings Jewish lives and stories to the big screen. With venues across town, the Festival, now in its 20th year, shines the spotlight on Jewish and Israeli culture, art and history.

Remembering Gene Wilder

Join us on October 4 for a special first sneak peek of the Houston Jewish Film Festival featuring “Remembering Gene Wilder,” a must-see documentary revealing intimate insights into Gene Wilder’s life and career with many astonishing surprises. Gene Wilder, the prolific actor and screenwriter, is known all over the world for his endearing roles in classic films such as “The Producers,” “Young Frankenstein,” “Blazing Saddles,” “Silver Streak,” “The Frisco Kid,” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” Featuring rare never-before-seen home videos and memorable scenes from our favorite Gene Wilder films, you won’t want to miss it!
