Book Festival: Oliver Lapin Family Day

For Ages 0-9

Discover Debbie’s Song: The Debbie Friedman Story with author Ellen Leventhal. Through vivid illustrations and expressive words, we learn that Debbie’s inspiration came from her time on a kibbutz where everyone worked, played and sang together. There, she fostered her passion for music to create Jewish songs everyone could sing. Weaving English lyrics with Hebrew prayer, her music was designed to unite people as one joyful community.

Experience the magic of Debbie’s iconic music as it comes alive through a day full of music and exciting activities. Discover the “Alef Bet”, sing along to “Oseh Shalom” and dance to “Miriam”s Song” with interactive games and crafts.
