Challah Club

A challah can be a work of art and is a Friday night staple in many Jewish homes. In this month’s challah club, we will demonstrate the dough making process and learn how to make a savory stuffed challah with pesto and goat cheese.

Instructor: Hilary Kamin

Hilary Kamin is the Community Engagement Director at the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston where she oversees Young Adult and Young Family Engagement. After graduating with a degree in Education from the University of Texas, Hilary, a native Houstonian, moved home to give back to the community that has given her so much. Hilary is a life member of Hadassah, an active member and past chair of the JCC Book and Arts Festival, faculty member at Greene Family Camp and loves to play mah jong. Hilary enjoys spending her free time cheering on the Longhorns with her husband, Brent, and two sons, Brandon and Dylan and baking fresh challah each week in creative ways.
