Chinese Lunar New Year

Join us to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Dragon! Menu includes dumplings for wealth and treasure, garlic shiitake mushrooms and veggies and flavorful umami prepared with longer noodles for “longevity and happiness.” This hands-on culinary class will celebrate the Lunar New Year, where the art of cooking becomes a celebration of culture, community and the delicious flavors that herald a year of prosperity and good fortune.

Menu:

  • Pan fried dumplings and steamed dumplings with a homemade sauce
  • Garlic shiitake mushroom and veggie lo mein
  • served w/warm sake and a sake bomb

Skill level: This class is open to all skill levels, ages 16 and up. You will work with other students in groups of 2-4.

Class includes: Dumplings, garlic shitake mushrooms with veggies and umami and noodles.

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class.
