Honey Tasting and Cheeseboard Making

Join Nicole Buergers from Bee2Bee Honey collective for a delightful class as we get in the Rosh Hashanah spirit! Explore a diverse honey tasting experience, learn fascinating beekeeping insights and master the art of crafting the perfect cheese board. Uncover the sweet world of bees, indulge in flavorful honeys and create impressive cheese platters that will leave your taste buds buzzing.

Skill level: Open to all skill levels. You will work with other students in groups of 2-4.

Class includes: Honey and cheese tasting, creating your own mini cheese board and a glass of wine

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class.

Instructor: Nicole Buergers from Bee2Bee Honey

With her background in digital marketing and specialty foods, Nicole Buergers launched Bee2Bee Honey Collective in 2016. Her company is an educational collective providing beekeeping mentorship, beehive management and hyperlocal honey distribution throughout Houston. On days when she isn’t beekeeping, you can find her slinging cheese at the Houston Dairymaids or playing jams from the 70s on 96.1 KTRU, Rice University’s radio station.

Registration closes September 6.

Paying adult must accompany ages 16 & under.

Advance registration is required for all classes 24 hours before the class begins. Full refunds will only be given if a registration is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the class. We request that all participants arrive on time for classes. For some classes, late arrivals may not be able to participate in the class.
