Book Festival: Chanie Apfelbaum

Join us for a special program featuring popular blogger Chanie Apfelbaum and her kosher cookbook Totally Kosher: Tradition with a Twist! 150+ Recipes for the Holidays and Every Day: A Cookbook.

Founder and creative force behind the popular blog Busy in Brooklyn, Chanie Apfelbaum brings us a modern kosher cookbook with a twist. With more than 150 recipes, this book adds a trendy edge to kosher meals. Chanie’s recipes are playful, delicious and introduce exciting global flavors to Jewish-inspired dishes. She shares meal planning advice, food-prep tips, kitchen hacks, and her favorite pantry ingredients.  Chanie’s reach extends beyond the Jewish world, featuring inventive recipes like “Miso Matzo Ball Soup” and “Berbere Brisket.
