This is a commemorative event honoring the author Shalom Aleichem. The audience will hear the story “Kapores” (The Great Yom Kippur Chicken Revolt) read aloud in Yiddish by members of the Vinkl, while an English translation is projected on the screen. Following the reading, the program will continue with Yiddish songs accompanied by piano.
There is no charge to attend this event; advance registration is required. Space is limited to 50 participants.
