Teens in the Kitchen: Pasta 101
Let’s Get Cooking!
Join us in the Cramer-Jacobs Family Culinary Studio for Teens in the Kitchen, our brand-new cooking series for ages 13 – 18. Whether you’re a total beginner or a confident home cook, these classes are designed just for teens to build skills, explore global cuisines and have fun in the kitchen with friends.
This session will be led by Chef Emily Hersh, a San Antonio native, Hell’s Kitchen alum and expert in bold flavors and creative twists. Chef Emily brings her love for teaching and her passion for food into every class, inspiring students to cook with confidence.

In this class, teens will learn the art of homemade pasta, creating fresh egg pasta with a vibrant tomato sauce and hand-shaped ravioli filled with creamy ricotta.
Classes are open to everyone at a special reduced rate, making it easier than ever to get cooking at the J. Teens in the Kitchen is an initiative supported by a grant from the Houston Jewish Community Foundation.
