Development Program Girls Team: Levels 2-Elite
Our program is built on the foundation that athletes perform at their best when they are supported, encouraged, and inspired. We aren’t just training for today; we are preparing you for the next level. For those with the drive to compete at the collegiate level, we provide the platform, the exposure, and the rigorous preparation required to transition into a college program. Your ambition is our roadmap.
Girls’ Developmental Program Team hours per week (subject to change):
Development Level 2 (Pre-Team; non-competitive) – 4 hrs
Level 2 – 9hrs
Level 3 – 12hrs
Level 4 – 15hrs
Level 5 – 15.5hrs
Level 7-10 – 23.5hrs
Coaches

Adam Benas
HEAD COACH

Adam Benas is the director of gymnastics and head coach of the girls development program at HGC. A former junior national team member and NCAA Champion at Penn State, he has extensive experience at the highest levels of the sport. Since joining HGC in 2007, he has developed numerous state, regional and national champions as well as collegiate athletes. Adam is known for his energetic coaching style and commitment to athlete development.

Lilia Li
ASSISTANT COACH, CHOREOGRAPHER
Lilia Li is a former elite gymnast with international competitive experience in China and extensive coaching expertise. She has coached at the national level, including preparing athletes for the 1996 Olympic Games in rhythmic gymnastics. Lilia has also served as head coach at Carolina Twisters and brings years of experience working with athletes from Level 2 through Level 10. She currently coaches competitive teams and contributes as a choreographer at HGC.

Rebecca Muñoz Guma
ASSISTANT COACH, CHOREOGRAPHER

Rebecca Muñoz is an experienced coach with an international background and over 15 years of coaching experience. A former competitive gymnast from Puerto Rico, she has coached across the United States in both compulsory and optional programs, including leadership roles directing Xcel teams. Rebecca has successfully developed athletes progressing to higher competitive levels and brings a strong focus on excellence and athlete growth. She is proud to be part of the HGC coaching team.
