Information for Publishers & Authors

Inspiring and entertaining, the Ann and Stephen Kaufman Jewish Book & Arts Festival annually delivers a variety of opportunities for the community to learn and experience Jewish literary, culture and the arts. The Book Festival is one of the largest events of its kind in the U.S., attracting established and emerging writers from around the world, representing a myriad of themes and drawing a large and varied audience.

Venue

  • Most events take place at the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC at 5601 S. Braeswood.
  • Authors speak in professionally equipped theatres.
  • Large audiences (400+ attendees) events are held in the gymnasium or off-site in larger venues, with the assistance of trained and experienced sound technicians.
  • A pop-up bookstore is created each year featuring 2,500 titles, approximately 6,000 books, computerized checkout and a separate author signing area.
