Teen Night at Book Festival

Join us for an in-depth conversation about Richard Hurowitz’s In the Garden of the Righteous: The Heroes Who Risked Their Lives to Save Jews During the Holocaust in collaboration with the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston’s Kehillah High, J Teens, BBYO and Helfman Religious School of Congregation Emanu El.

A deep dive into the lives of ten heroic individuals, none of them Jewish, who repeatedly risked their lives and the lives of loved ones by defying orders in order to save Jews during the Holocaust. While their stories may not be well known, these individuals rose above the darkness to save those being hunted by the Nazis.

Please use this form to register for the bus between JCC and HMH on Wednesday, November 8. The bus will leave at 6:15 PM and arrive back at the J around 9:00 PM. There are 30 sports available and this is first come, first serve.

Exclusively for Teens Grades 8-12.

For questions, contact Barrie at bskalsky@erjcchouston.org

Please RSVP by 11:59 PM on Sunday, Nov. 5.
