Dear Early Childhood Families,

We are excited that registration for the 2021-2022 school year is around the corner! Early registration for current ECE families will take place Monday, January 25, 2021 through Friday, January 29, 2021 online.

The Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center (the J) has again contracted with FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, an online company, to process all financial aid requests for the 2021-2022 school year and preschool summer camps. Applications must be completed through FACTS by February 19, 2021 to be reviewed by our scholarship committee. Any applications received AFTER February 19, 2021, will be considered on a limited basis and subject to the remaining funds available.

Current scholarship families will be granted priority award decisions if submitted by the PRIORITY DEADLINE of February 7, 2021. Applications submitted after February 7, 2021 will be reviewed with all other applicants.

Step 1: Verify that your J membership is active and current. Any outstanding balances must be cleared before registration.

Step 2:  Enroll your child(ren) into the desired program(s) and pay the required deposits/registration fees. Early registration for current ECE families will take place online Monday, January 25, 2021 through Friday, January 29, 2021.   

Step 3: Complete the financial aid application online at https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4FTSN. There is a $35 non-refundable application fee payable to FACTS via credit card when you submit your application. You must submit all supporting documentation to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment. The following is a list of required documents:

  1. A copy of your 2019 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, form 1040, 1040A or 040-EZ, including all supporting tax schedules;
  2. Copies of your 2020 W-2 Wage and Tax Statements for both you and your spouse (you can apply before receiving your W-2 Wage and Tax Statements, but please submit them as soon as they become available);
  3. Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers Compensation, etc.

Your application will only be considered when ALL documents have been received and any outstanding balances have been cleared. The deadlines to file an application for financial assistance are:

  • Priority deadline for current scholarship families: February 7, 2021
  • Regular deadline: February 19, 2021

Step 4: Applicants will receive a letter via email outlining financial terms approximately 30-45 days after submission and will have no later than 2 weeks to accept the award, file an appeal and/or confirm any necessary payment arrangementsPayment arrangements must be finalized prior to program participation.
