Gain insight into the life of the artistic director concerning their vision, process and how they continued to create during the pandemic. The Power of Dance featuring Israeli-American Ronen (Roni) Koresh a choreographer, teacher, collaborator and founding Artistic Director of Koresh Dance Company with moderator Merilyn Jackson, a dance critic for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Pointe and Dance Magazine, also writes about food and Eastern European literature.
The Power of Dance featuring Michigan native Carolyn Dorfman a choreographer and founding Artistic Director of Carolyn Dorfman Dance with moderator Rebecca Rossen a dance historian, performance scholar and choreographer is a faculty affiliate in Women’s and Gender Studies, Jewish Studies and American Studies at The University of Texas in Austin.
